Global POP3 Mailboxes
A POP3 server acts as your email Post Office.
You use an email client (such as; Outlook Express, Eudora, Netscape Messenger) to retrieve your email from the server and transfer it to your computer.
The main benefit of using a POP3 account over other styles (IMAP/Hosted Exchange) is that you can download your email to your local computer, allowing you to browse through your messages offline at your own leisure.
A global POP3 mailbox is one that can be collected using any type of Internet connection. Many ISP's limit you to using their internet connection,
with Expericomm, you can collect via POP3 no matter which ISP you use. No SMTP service is provided with POP3 Mailboxes.

Global POP3 Mailboxes are included with all hosting packages from the Starter package up.

WebMail
A secure web application that allows a user to logon and read their email securely from a remote location via a web browser.
Webmail will allow you to collect your email via any ISP using any web browser. The fully featured webmail interface is customisable
and will also allow you to reply and manage your email messages online.

Webmail is included free with all POP3 Mailboxes.
 

Anti Virus
A program that runs in the background and scans all your incoming emails for viruses and material that could potentially cause harm to your computer.
Any infected email attachements are automatically removed and quarentinedin a secure area.
Anti virus works with any email service with Expericomm and virus definitions are updated regularly.

Anti Virus is included free with all POP3 Mailboxes.
 

Spam Filtering
A database that scans all email to determine if it is unsolicited or junk email.
Any email identified to be spam has its suibject line re-written to included {SPAM} at the beggining,
this then allows the user to set filters on their local mail clients or webmail interface to filter the spam to
another folder so they never have to see it.

Spam Filtering is included free with all POP3 Mailboxes.
